This error occurs when the app cannot accurately verify your location. To fix this, please follow these steps:
Use a Mobile Device: For the most accurate verification, open the Tampa Bay Lightning app on your mobile phone.
Enable Location Services: Ensure that location services (GPS) are turned ON in your device's settings and that you have given the Lightning app permission to access your location. (including mobiles, smart TVs, and websites)
Log In: Log in to your account while your location services are enabled.
If the location shown is still incorrect, you can manually update your home location:
Go to Account > Location > Change Home Location. Set your location here https://www.tblightning.tv/location-settings.
Select your correct home location and tap Confirm.
Please note: You can change your home location up to twice a year.
Special Note for Starlink Users: If you use Starlink as your internet provider, you must use a mobile device with GPS capabilities (like a smartphone) and allow the app to detect your location. For the initial setup, we recommend using a device connected to your home Wi-Fi network to verify your service eligibility.
